Overview: Home of the Galactic Commonwealth, the evolution of civilizations on SOL III closely mirrors that of EARTH with one reoccurring exception, the ideas of science and its advancement always held a priority over everything else.
When first contact was made by the Vulcans of that dimension, those ideas were rapidly accepted and eventually were spread through the galaxy and beyond.
As knowledge and technology expended, the Galactic Commonwealth saw its influence take root in other dimensions.
USS HAWKING (Traveler-Class): Although the parallels with Federation designs are impossible to miss, this trans-dimensional vessel operating under the Galactic Commonwealth is design for research through the multi-verse. More then three-quarters of the equipment on board is aimed at research, and whatever weapons are on board are strictly defensive in capabilities.
